Today was a very promising day....
The doctors were able to remove the ICP monitor from Matt's head. They also removed a couple of his other IV's. Througout the morning, Matt opened his eyes at one point and seemed aware of his surroundings. He responded to mom, Tracy, sister, Naomi, and friend, Sami by squeezing all of their hands. He even cuddled his stuffed dog, Spud!
However, he was heavily sedated again, so that he could finally get his MRI. We waited all day for the results, however, they had to be sent to a speciaist in Denver, so we were told to wait one more day.

Too: Mathew From Dad and Mom we remember loving and enjoying the times that you were born, and I wanted you to know that was a joyful time in our life’s. As well as Ricky and Naomi, that was a start of our family and a new beginning for all of us. This new beginning had started a lifetime of learning and remembering all the good and hard times we shared together. The property was one of the most interesting times with all the animals. Push starting the car to go. Riding the horse and taking care of the 2 pigs we raised for food. I know Naomi is still upset with me when I had the man take them away for food. When we all walk up the mountainside to find the box with grandpa and old man john names in it. The good times we had there for 14 year. And than all the times that we were always doing thing together as a family. Years Hockey Fishing, camping Running up and down the hills, playing in the sand to snow, and all the times we had with grandma and grandpa, all the time that the family spent in san Diego with Ricky, Naomi, Mom Grandpa and Granma deep fishing as a family, that was great times that took four years to end. I remember all the times we were together working on car and trucks. The entire time mom spent working with you to do better in school. The entire thing that mom and I taught you kids. This will always be in your heart as you walk thru life and grow. This actually has turned out wonderful; all my children have filled our life.
When you were laying in the bed on that day of the dirt bike accident. Your mom and I held you to our hearts and prayed that you would come out of this horrible Situation. We were by your bedside day after day praying. Every day we would talk to you and hold you hoping you would wake up and nothing would be wrong, After 9 days you woke up and look up to mom and side I love you mom. And wanted to sing blue rocky chair. You’re mom and I new you would be find, we were so happy we cried. You than went to the rehab center for 5 weeks and came home to the family and us. Mat we will work with you and find the best doctors so that you can have a life, The things and dreams that you were planning with your life.
